The rugby world mourns the passing of beloved legend Cornal Hendricks, who tragically passed last week. Among the many heartfelt tributes, self-taught artist Ricollin Moodley, known as Ricollinart, created a breathtaking portrait of Hendricks using only lipstick.<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Wellington, South Africa (20 May 2025)<\/em> – Our nation lost one of its talented and well-loved rugby legends, Cornal Hendricks, last week from what is believed to have been a heart attack.<\/p>\n

According to SuperSport<\/a>, Hendricks, who was diagnosed with the heart condition late in 2015 and missed several years of rugby because no team would take the risk of playing him with the condition, was finally given the chance to return to the rugby field for the Vodacom Bulls in 2019.<\/p>\n

More than just a rugby star, Hendricks has had a great impact in Western Cape communities through the Cornal Hendricks Foundation<\/a>, which is rooted in strengthening communities by encouraging, empowering and enabling young people to become the best they can through its programmes.<\/p>\n

Many have paid tribute to the fallen rugby legend, and among them was talented South African self-taught artist, Ricollin Moodley, widely known as Ricollinart<\/a> on his social platforms.<\/p>\n
